I am a volunteer for Learning and Enrichment in the Arts Program. LEAP is a student organization centered around the importance of arts education. Every Friday, we lead hour-long art lessons for students aged 5-12 at the CYO in Trenton. During our annual Spring Show, we display our students’ work at Princeton University, and have our students come talk to our community about their art work.

In 2016, I was the Artistic Director and Co-Leader of LEAP. The 2016 Spring Show, Trenton: My City was a dynamic celebration of the LEAP students’ hometown. Our students were asked to reflect upon their own Trenton experiences and to craft urban landscapes in response. My students were inspired by Edward Hopper.
